Together they show the strata fees, the contingency reserve fund and any special levies or major repairs coming up. We go through these documents with you before your subjects are removed.

Since late 2022, strata corporations in British Columbia can no longer ban long-term rentals, and age restrictions are limited to 55 and over. Stratas can still set bylaws on pets and short-term rentals, and short-term rentals are also subject to local and provincial rules, so we check the bylaws of each building with you.

Condo fees usually cover building insurance, common area maintenance, the contingency reserve fund and sometimes heat, hot water or amenities. What is included varies from building to building, so we compare fees alongside what they cover and the age of the building.
